I said I like to cook in my bio but, I should have said I love to cook. For me, cooking is relaxing. For those of you who just groaned, these recipes are for you. They're easy and honestly goood.
I'll try to share the easy and delicious recipes at least a few times a month. Maybe more, maybe less. Welcome to my recipe ideas for this week... FYI it's bread week (nod to the Great British Baking fans).
Layered Yogurt Flatbreads - smitten kitchen
Why I like this recipe... smitten kitchen is my go to food blogger. My friend Ashley sent me a link to her Apple Pie Cookies and I was hooked. Not to brag (kitchen nerd alert!!) but my sister has gifted me three of her books two of which are autographed. Delicious flatbread with a high protein content? Done, yogurt in this recipe makes these flatbreads tender and sturdy.

Overnight, Refrigerator Focaccia = The Best Focaccia Bread Recipe
Why I like this recipe... because bread is delicious and this recipe from Alexandra's Kitchen is a go-to. I started by baking her sourdough focaccia, which is lovely. Then I needed a quicker version for a dinner party. This recipe fit the bill. It's an overnight rise, but if you start early in the morning, you could bake that evening. Just follow the directions. You'll think it's too easy.
BA's (Bon Appetit's) Best Banana Bread
Why I like this recipie...Spoiler alert! It's amazing. Warning, this is not low fat or low sugar recipe but is definitely delicious. If you make this, consider it cool to expect compliments. Bon Appetit is a great resource for great recipes but it's a pay site. You can access the recipe a few times but eventually you must sign up for full access. (psst, you can google it on another site like the Honest Spoonful linked under the picture.
